In April 2011, the Hanoi Guest VDTX Enterprise researched and studied the types of deodorizing preparations on the market and found a deodorant preparation ENCHOICE Solutions (USA) that met the "bad smell" criteria on wagons, especially wagons with air-conditioning; At the same time, it does not affect the health of passengers and does not adversely affect the environment.
ENCHOICE Solutions is an organic product, derived from plants, produced through cold fermentation; certified by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (US Department of Labor) as a non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-flammable and biodegradable substance.
To evaluate the ability to eliminate odors, clean the air on passenger wagons; Test the impact of ENCHOICE Solutions on equipment for passengers, service staff and passengers on the train, from 11/5 to 11/6/2011, Hanoi Passenger VDTX Enterprise organized a test use ENCHOICE Solutions on wagons A64 and Bn42 of train NA1 / 2 (Hanoi - Vinh); from 17/8 to 26/9/2011 used on the Thong Nhat SE3 / 4 train managed by the enterprise. The areas used (spraying) ENCHOICE Solutions are on bed wagons, air-conditioned seat wagons, on rice wagons and toilets.
The results of the air analysis after using ENCHOICE Solutions are very good, the amount of SO2, NO2, NH3, H2S ... (carbon dioxide causes environmental pollution and is harmful to human health) on wagons is significantly reduced. including, below the standard allowed by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. To have a more thorough assessment of the deodorizing ability of ENCHOICE Solutions, according to the direction of VNR, from April 1 to May 30, 2012, Hanoi Tourist VDTX Enterprise continued to test. preparation of ENCHOICE Solutions on board SE3 / 4 managed by the enterprise. During the test, the factory held 520 forms of passenger opinion polls on 176 wagons of 20 SE3 / 4 trains. The results showed that train passengers appreciated the environmental quality on the wagons that tested the ENCHOICE Solutions deodorant, of which: 504/520 (96.92%) comments of passengers rated prices on the wagon no longer smell of impurities; 496/520 (95.38%) assessed that the atmosphere on the wagon was fresh.
From the evaluation results of the Institute of Environmental Technology and the opinions of train passengers on the ability to deodorize, improve the environment on passenger wagons through the testing of ENCHOICE Solutions; Recently, Hanoi Passenger VDTX Enterprise has asked Hanoi Railway VTHK Company and VNR to allow the enterprise to deploy the deodorization with ENCHOICE Solutions on all Thong Nhat passenger trains managed by the factory to lift high quality passenger service, reducing and eventually eliminating "house odor".
